ARTY X YECAP

YECAP stands for Youth Engagement for Climate Action Philippines, a youth-led organization in the Philippines that aims to engage and empower young people to take action on climate change. YECAP was founded in 2018 and is composed of passionate individuals who are committed to promoting sustainable development and addressing the urgent issue of climate change.

Their mission is to mobilize and empower Filipino youth to be at the forefront of the climate action movement. They aim to create a generation of environmentally conscious and responsible individuals who are capable of making a positive impact on the environment.

Their activities include organizing climate strikes, workshops, and educational campaigns to raise awareness about climate change and its impact on communities. They also work with local government units, schools, and other organizations to promote sustainable practices and policies.

YECAP is a member of the international climate action movement and collaborates with other youth-led organizations in the region and around the world to push for urgent and meaningful action on climate change.
